Grocery Store ToursChanging the way you eat, either for weight loss, disease or to simply eat healthy starts by knowing what to buy at the grocery store. With "nutritional" claims such as "low fat", "no carbs", and "organic", it is difficult to know what to buy, what is true and if it's true, what it means. Molly will take you through the grocery store, section by section, and educate you on the meaning of manufacturer claims, how to read a food label and how to choose healthier food and beverage options. Molly will also give you guidelines that will allow you to read food labels and know, for example, if an item is high in fat, a good source of fiber or how many carbohydrate exchanges are in a serving.
Pantry RenovationPantry renovation consists of going through your refrigerator, freezer, pantry and or cabinets to find unhealthy foods, explaining why they are unhealthy and writing a list of healthy and delicious substitutes to replace them. This session alone or followed by a Grocery Store Tour will arm you with the nutritional education you will need to make healthier meals for you and your family.
